Learning To See: One Woman's Vision Therapy Experience

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while. I first saw Amy’s blog post about a year ago. Before then I had no idea that she had written anything. I asked Amy if she could put some of the things she had been describing to me during our work together into writing. Amy was great fun to work with and asked some of the best questions, and made some of the most poignant comments about what was happening to her as she went through her vision therapy program, and the various lens changes that were part of the process. We basically worked together for two years, over a three year period. The following was written about two thirds of the way into the therapy program. I can’t thank Amy enough for these great words and the way she described her vision therapy experience. I am truly grateful to have been a part of her experience. I am looking forward to seeing Amy next week for her progress evaluation.
